The Carmen Durazo Cultural Arts Center was inaugurated in February 2008. This center is the home for artistic and cultural events. The arts center is located in Calexico, California. This border city is located 120 miles east of San Diego and 60 miles west of Yuma. It is a border city with a population of approximately 37,000.
